The highly anticipated Witch Hat Atelier anime has been delayed, with its broadcast schedule shifting from 2025 to 2026. The announcement was made on the series’ official X account, where the production team cited a commitment to delivering the highest possible quality as the reason behind the decision.
Rather than disappointment, fans welcomed the delay, saying it showed the studio’s commitment to doing justice to the manga.
Many expressed relief that the production was taking extra time, adding that they would rather wait longer than see the adaptation rushed, while some noted that the silence since the first teaser made a delay seem inevitable, but still viewed the decision as a positive step to preserve the series’ striking artistry.
