Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi manga will surpass 2.2 million copies in circulation, including digital sales, with the release of its seventh volume on May 2, 2025.
This was revealed on the official X account of Kagurabachi on April 27, 2025.
The series has seen a rise in popularity since its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2023.
In July 2024, it had 350,000 copies in circulation. In less than a year, that number has jumped by 1.85 million—an increase of more than six times.

Pop-up shops are also planned at Shibuya Modi (starting June 20), Kobe Marui (July 18), and Hakata Marui (August 8), offering exclusive goods featuring new illustrations drawn by Hokazono.
Kagurabachi manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump since September 2023, with its chapters collected in six tankobon volumes as of March 2025.
Kagurabachi reportedly has its anime adaptation in works at CygamesPictures.
