The upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death compilation film will feature a brand new Juju Stroll (Juju Sanpo) mini anime/short.
This Juju Stroll will feature Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieiri.
Juju Stroll shorts are not something new for fans of the series, as they usually aired after the episodes, containing a relaxing and lighthearted content featuring the characters from the story.
Yuichi Nakamura, who voices Gojo Satoru, shared his thoughts on the mini anime, stating, “The main feature is around two hours long, and for those who have already seen the TV anime, some may find it a bit exhausting (laughs). While I’m sure some fans will watch it multiple times, I think once is enough for me (laughs). Within that, ‘Juju Sanpo’ serves as one of the few lighthearted scenes. It includes Akutami-sensei’s signature humor, and I couldn’t help but think, ‘Ah, here it comes!’ (laughs).“
The event will also be live-streamed to select theaters.
GKIDS has acquired the North American theatrical distribution rights for the compilation movie.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 aired from July 6 to Dec 28, 2023. It ran for two continuous cours and adapted the manga’s “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” and “Shibuya Incident” story arcs.
After the second season’s finale, a sequel covering the “Culling Game” arc was announced.
Season 1 of the anime adaptation by MAPPA aired from October 2020 to March 2021.
A movie adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen prequel, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 premiered in Japan in December 2021.
Jujutsu Kaisen manga was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, with its chapters collected in 28 tankobon volumes as of October 2024.
By September 2024, the manga had over 100 million copies in circulation, including related novels, digital versions, and Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
