Crunchyroll announced that Gachiakuta anime will be getting global premiere screenings ahead of its worldwide streaming release date. The screenings will take place in 15 countries and regions, scheduled to begin early in July.

The United States premiere is scheduled for Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 4 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

This event will feature a screening of the first two episodes and include a special panel with creators Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou, and producer Naoki Amano.

Anime Expo attendees will also have access to a Gachiakuta-themed installation.

Screenings will also be held in Berlin, Germany, on July 5 at 6:00 p.m. CEST at the Astor Film Lounge, and in Rome, Italy, on July 4 at 6:30 p.m. CEST at The Space Moderno, Piazza della Repubblica.

A screening in Mexico City at the Antara Shopping Mall is slated for July 4, with the time yet to be announced. In Brazil, the series will be shown at Anime Friends in São Paulo on a date that is also to be announced.

More details about the advanced screenings will be revealed in the future.

Additionally, a “Gachiakuta World Takeover” program was also announced.

Crunchyroll, in partnership with Kodansha, Avex, and Bones, described the program as a global anime movement.

The campaign was launched alongside the reveal of the main trailer and a new key visual for the anime series.

There’s a raw, emotional current in Gachiakuta that will resonate with fans the moment they see it,” Gita Rebbapragada, Chief Operating Officer at Crunchyroll, said in a statement. “These promotional efforts are designed to match the excitement and intensity of this remarkable story and hook them into an unforgettable narrative journey.

The campaign also released a new concept video and visual under the theme, “Here Comes Gachiakuta!”

Special activations are planned to showcase the series’ graffiti-inspired world.

Gachiakuta is set to stream exclusively on Crunchyroll starting July 6, 2025. The series is being animated by Studio Bones, with Fumihiko Suganuma serving as the director.
