The long-awaited continuation of the Dorohedoro anime has been officially rescheduled for a spring 2026 release. Initially slated for 2025, the second season will now premiere worldwide almost simultaneously, according to the anime’s official website.
Alongside the new release window, a key visual illustrated by returning character designer Tomohiro Kishi was revealed.
Yuichiro Hayashi will be returning to direct the sequel at MAPPA. The remaining staff members, too, will be reprising their roles for the anime’s second season.
The first season of the anime, produced by MAPPA, originally aired on Tokyo MX in Japan from January to March 2020, before debuting worldwide on Netflix in May of the same year.
